Completed activities, deliverables and mapping

ERAfrica's website has been online for a few months now and the content is growing as deliverables are being completed continuously. Also about to be completed are efforts intended to support the process of ultimately designing joint activities by mapping both national research programmes and initiatives between Europe and Africa and regional programmes, initiatives and strategies that are relevant to ERAfrica during the definition of the joint activities.

Completed activities
A number of tasks have already been completed. Important examples include a communication strategy and a consortium agreement which have recently been agreed upon. Both tasks have been completed under the leadership of IRD. Another notable landmark was when the website erafrica.eu went online thanks to the work of PT-DLR.

Mapping
Also about to be completed are efforts intended to support the process of ultimately designing joint activities by mapping both national research programmes and initiatives between Europe and Africa and regional programmes, initiatives and strategies that are relevant to ERAfrica during the definition of the joint activities. The report resulting from the strategic analysis carried out in these mapping activities will form the basis for other activities.
