EU-Africa Conference on "Sustainable Energy in Africa"

The EU-Africa Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce a high level conference on the topic “Sustainable Energy in Africa” to take place in Brussels on the 27th June 2013.
This conference is organised in the context of the European Sustainable Energy Week starting on 24th of June 2013.

Various high level stakeholders are expected to attend this conference. This include: EU policy makers, African Officials, African private sector, EU private sector, International funding and capacity building organizations, and sustainable energy experts.

The following keynote speakers are confirmed:
  • H.E. Dr. Elham Mahmood Ahmed Ibrahim, African Union Commissioner for Infrastructure and Energy
  • Mr Andris Piebalgs, European Union Commissioner for Development
  • H.E. Mr Ajay Kumar Bramdeo, Head of African Mission to European Union

Several Ambassadors have confirmed their participation. Among them:

  • Ethiopia, 
  • Kenya,
  • Cap Vert,
  • Liberia,
  • Gambia,
